We at NewGenSalsa.com want to welcome Marco Izquierdo known professionally as Markóz to our family of artists. Markóz was born in Lima, Peru and migrated with his family to New York City where he grew up and began his professional career as a vocalist at the tender age of 15 years old. He later went on to record his first CD entitled “Ahora Vengo Yo” which was well received in Cali, Colombia and it was during this time that he adopted his professional name Markóz.
He has shared the stage with some of the best artists in the industry such as Cano Estremera, Alex de Castro, Lalo Rodríguez, Luisito Carrion,Tito Gómez, Yolanda Rivera, Willie González, Charlie Zaa just to name a few. He now has a new CD out where he utilized the best musicians from both New York City and Colombia entitled “A Mi Manera” of which I’m featuring his latest single “Besos Reservados”. This is a track which I’m sure will to be well received by all the Salsa Romantica lovers and dancers alike. Will provide where it can be purchased as soon as I receive the info.
