Allow me to introduce you to Rica Obsesion! This Chi-Town based group brings the heat with their new hot single “Lluvia”, a cover of the popular Willie Rosario/Gilberto Santa Rosa song. Aided by an updated arrangement by Joe Mende and Ricky Luis Porrata (ex N’Klabe vocalist), this modern-day version of the Salsa classic is a must buy!
I was first introduced to Rica Obsesion’s music via Sound Cloud by the group’s lead singer Junior Rivera Medina, and after listening to “LLuvia” I felt compelled to make sure that everyone is up on this talented up and coming band.
I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more material from Rica Obsesion and getting a chance to see them perform live. Junior definitely has a way with his lyrics and the band seems to have mucho swing!
Currently the group is hard at work on their full length CD, which will be released soon. I recommend that you pick up this dance floor banger the moment it becomes available.
