“Pa que los dioses me atiendan” es un rezo en salsa. En ciertos momentos de especial oscuridad o incertidumbre el ser humano desde sus orígenes ha juntado las manos o mirado al cielo pidiendo la protección y ayuda de algún ser superior. Delante del desconcierto, duda y temor que han traído estos últimos tiempos a mi vida (y en general a la de músicos, técnicos, dj’s, salas etc así como a la gente común) he querido responder con este tema/rezo.
Uso el término “los dioses” porque cada uno busca amparo en sus propias creencias y yo soy hija de un mix de culturas. La salsa para mi es algo diría religioso en su capacidad de conectarme a lo bueno (la alegría, la fe, la esperanza…) y desconectarme de lo malo (el pesimismo, el desamparo, el temor…).
Todo salsero “reza bailando” es lo que digo en mi canción. Y espero que los dioses me atiendan. highly recommended to all my DJ Brothers by DJ Walter B Nice

“For the gods to attend to me” is a prayer played in “salsa” rythm. In certain moments of special darkness or uncertainty, human beings from their origins have joined hands or looked at the sky asking for the protection and help of some superior being. Faced with the bewilderment, doubt and fear that recent times have brought to my life (and in general to that of musicians, technicians, DJs, Concert halls etc. as well as ordinary people) I wanted to respond with this song/ prayer.
I use the term “the gods” because each one seeks shelter in their own beliefs and I am the daughter of a mix of cultures. “salsa” for me is something I would say religious in its ability to connect me to the good (joy, faith, hope …) and disconnect me from the evil (pessimism, helplessness, fear …).
Every salsero “prays dancing”…that’s what I say in my song… And I really hope the gods will take care of me.
